Praia da Luz and the surrounding area is laced with endless dirt and gravel roads that link lost, sleepy villages, each with their own cafe and particular charm. There is a 900m high mountain range with the peak less than 40km from Lagos, made famous by the Volta da Portugal and the Volta de Algarve, there are many stunning winding tarmac climbs up these mountains but even better are the hidden dirt roads and single tracks that go up and down out of sight.
The cliff edges are intertwined with fisherman’s trails leading everywhere and nowhere, every corner is a mind blowing view, every trail is a delight. All of this riding is in a location with three hundred plus days of sunshine a year, easy travel, cheap accommodation and world famous food. Now you know why we are here, when are you coming?

Routes 5 and 7 are really useful here as the pass within 50m of our door! The BTT centre is only 8km away if you want to ride straight there and pick a different route.
